Foundation Paper Piecing Basics – Hexie Pot Holder

Description: Learn the technique of Foundation Paper Piecing and get perfect points every time!  Foundation Paper Piecing uses paper templates to help you sew intricate designs with accuracy.  You’ll sew a fun Zakka inspired hexie pot holder.

Skill level: You should be able to use a sewing machine, but no prior experience in foundation paper piecing is required.

Requirements: You’ll need a fat quarter for the background and back of the pot holder, a selection of scraps for the accent pieces of fabric, and coordinating thread.  You’ll receive 10% off any supplies bought from the shop.

Cost: £25

Available dates: This class is over 1 session lasting a total of 3 hours.

Thursday 9th March: 6pm – 9pm

Light refreshments will be provided throughout the class.  For full-day workshops, please bring a packed lunch or you can pop out to one of the cafes in town to buy something.
