I’m going to jump right in and say how much I love Tilda fabric. I love the colour palettes that they use – subtle and soft without being washed out; the prints are that perfect balance of whimsical but still modern; and they seem to have a timeless quality to them.
I’ve had some of their pre-cuts in stock for a while and I used one of the fat eighth bundles for one of my disappearing nine patch quilt samples. While pre-cuts are really great to have, it is often more versatile to have yardage available on the bolt.
The Circus Collection from Tilda has a total of 20 prints across four colourways – red, blue, teal and green. The prints and colourways are completely interchangeable and you can mix n’ match between them and everything will coordinate beautifully.
The majority of the prints in the Circus Collection are Tilda’s signature florals and there is a good mix of medium and smaller scale prints. At the centre of the collection is the Circus Life design which is available in red, blue and green. This is a gorgeous design with elephants, acrobats, monkeys and all the fun of the fair!
All twenty of the prints are available by the metre, and I’ve also made fat quarter bundles and fat eighth bundles in the four different colourways, so each bundle contains five prints. There are a limited number of Tilda Circus Charm Packs too – each pack contains 40 charm squares so you’ll get two squares of each print. I’ve created a Pinterest board with project ideas to use your Tilda fabric.
I hope you love it as much as I do and I can’t wait to see what you make with it.
